A man is to stand trial accused of attempting to run over two traffic wardens in a Dundee car park.

Steven Fairweather is alleged to have driven dangerously in the car park at Bank Street, Lochee.

Prosecutors say he drove his car at Martin Kelling and Robbie Knox, both parking attendants then working in the car park, and caused them to take evasive action to avoid a collision.

Fairweather, 42, denies a charge of dangerous driving on summary complaint at Dundee Sheriff Court.

Sheriff Lorna Drummond QC continued the case to trial later this month.
