Man seriously injured in street attack

Police Scotland is appealing for information after a 42 year old man was assaulted at 9.30pm on Wednesday 21st September in Dundee.

Police are appealing for information after a 42 year old man was assaulted by a gang of men last Wednesday in Dundee.

The attack happened on 9.30pm on 21st September. The man was walking on the footpath at Stannergate opposite the junction of Dundee Road and Margaret Crescent where it is understood a verbal altercation took place between him and a group of three to five males in their twenties. The victim was thereafter assaulted and he was taken to hospital for treatment for serious injuries. Anyone with any information that may be useful should contact Tayside Division on 101 or any police officer.
