Man rescued after falling into water in Broughty Ferry
A lifeboat has rescued a man after he fell into the water at Broughty Ferry harbour.
Another man jumped into try and help him on Thursday afternoon.
The coastguard said Broughty Ferry RNLI inshore lifeboat went to the scene when the alarm was raised just before 1.30pm.
They reached the man and recovered him from the water within 10 minutes.
He was taken to the lifeboat shed where he was checked over by an ambulance crew.
The other man got himself out of the water.
