Man named following fatal attack in Broughty Ferry
44 year old man arrested on suspicion of murder
A man who died in an incident in Broughty Ferry has been named by police.
The death of Mark Johnston, 53, found in a flat in the town's Nursery Road at around 9.50pm on Friday, is being treated by Police Scotland as an alleged murder
Detective Inspector Tom Leonard, of Tayside Division CID, said: "My condolences are with the family and friends of Mark Johnston, and they continue to be supported by specially trained officers following his tragic death."
A man who was detained and taken into custody in connection with the investigation has now been transferred to hospital for treatment and assessment
