Police appeal for help to find 59-year-old man missing from Perth

Police Scotland is seeking the help of the public to trace Brian Sharp who has been reported missing from Perth.

The 59-year-old was last seen around 8.30am on Monday, 1st August, between Dundee and Perth, in the Abernyte Road area in the village of Abernyte.

He left on a silver Honda Goldwing – registration number SF57PYG – in the Perth direction and it is believed that he then may have travelled on the A9 towards Inverness.

He is described as around 5ft 10ins, of heavy build, and may have been wearing motorcycling leathers.

Sergeant Peter Duncan said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for Brian’s welfare and I would ask anyone who has seen him or his distinctive vehicle to get in touch.

“I would also appeal directly to Brian that if he sees this appeal to get in touch so we know you are safe and well.

“Anyone who has seen Brian or knows where he is should call us on 101, quoting reference 0834 of Monday, 1 August, 2022.”
