22-year-old man killed in crash near Blairadam named by police

The man who died in a car crash on the B996 near Blairadam earlier this month has been named as 22-year-old Ollie Nelson.

Mr Nelson, from Strathmiglo, was a passenger in a black Seat Leon, the only car involved in the crash, near the road’s junction with the B9097 at around 10.50pm on Sunday 17th August.

His family have asked for their privacy to be respected.

Constable Lee Buckley said: “Our thoughts remain with the family and friends of Ollie at this devasting time.

“I would urge anyone who may have been in the area around the time of the crash and witnessed what happened, or has any dashcam footage which could assist, to please get in touch with officers.”
