Hugh Reid has been has been sentenced to nine years in prison for serious sexual offences involving four women in Dundee.
The 51-year-old's offending took place between 2006 and 2023.
He was sentenced at the High Court in Glasgow today, 17th January, after being previously found guilty of of a number of serious sexual offences, assaults, an abduction, and a robbery following a trial
He was convicted at the High Court in Stirling on Friday, 22nd November, 2024.
Reid committed "horrific sexual assaults"
Detective Inspector Gordon Patullo said: “Reid subjected his victims to horrific sexual assaults. He will now face the consequences of his actions.
“Police Scotland takes all reports of violence and sexual crime extremely seriously. We have specialist officers to listen and support those who have experienced this kind of crime.
“I would urge anyone who has experienced sexual abuse to please come forward and make a report to us, no matter the passage of time.”
