Man in critical condition following M90 crash near Bridge of Earn
The 28-year-old was taken to Ninewells
A man is in a critical condition following a serious road crash on the M90 near Bridge of Earn.
Officers were called to the southbound carriageway around 8.35pm yesterday.
The 28-year-old was taken to Ninewells, where he is fighting for his life.
The incident involved a red Peugeot 306.
One lane was closed for around 5 hours to allow a full crash investigation to be carried out.
Inspector Greg Burns, of Tayside Road Policing, said: "A man has sustained serious injuries and we are appealing to anyone who may have any information relating to this crash.
"The M90 is a busy road and I would ask those who may have dashcam footage of the area to get in contact with officers.
"Police Scotland can be contacted on 101 quoting incident number 2963 of Tuesday, 17 March, 2020."
