Man hunt following homophobic attack in Dundee

Three men were left needing hospital treatment after the incident on Friday

Police are hunting four men following an unprovoked attack on three other men in Reform Street in Dundee on Friday.

Officers say the suspects subjected the group to homophobic abuse before launching the attack near the McDonalds in the early ours.

The group of four are described as being in their early twenties, and CCTV footge suggests they went on to get a taxi from High Street following the incident.

All three of the victims were taken to hospital and treated for minor injuries.

A police spokesman said: Officers would like to trace four men, all described as white and in their early 20s. The first is described as being of large build with dark hair, wearing a white top, black jacket, dark trousers and dark shoes.

"The second is tall with dark hair, wearing a dark jacket, white shorts and black shoes. The third is slim, wearing a black short sleeve shirt, black trousers and white shoes.

"Finally, the fourth is described only as wearing al black clothing.

"Anyone with any information should contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting CR/19905/18, or speak to any police officers".
