Man found dead in Angus identified as serving Tayside police officer
40-year-old Dean Morrison was found washed up on Carnoustie beach yesterday afternoon

A man found dead at the Barry Burn in Carnoustie yesterday has been named as police man Dean Morrison.
The 40-year-old was a serving officer from Tayside division - who had 16 years of service in the local community.
Police Scotland has paid tribute to him describing him as a "highly respected" and "popular" colleague - who will be missed by all.
Emergency services rushed to Carnoustie beach next to the famous golf course at 12.40pm yesterday.
The surrounding area of the Barry Burn was cornered off as rescue teams recovered the body.
Investigations in to his death continue.
