Man dies after air ambulance sent to Coupar Angus farm following reports he was unwell
The alert went out around 8am today
A man has been pronounced dead after emergency services units, including an air ambulance, were sent to a farm in Coupar Angus.
They received an alert that the 68-year-old had taken unwell around 8am today.
Two ambulances, one rapid resuscitation response unit, and one air ambulance were sent to assist.
However, the man died at the scene and officers say there are no suspicious circumstances.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 8.05am on Monday, 17 February, 2025, we received a report that a 68-year-old man had taken unwell at a farm in Coupar Angus. Emergency services attended and the man died at the scene.
“His next of kin have been informed.
“There are no apparent suspicious circumstances and enquiries are ongoing.”
A Scottish Ambulance spokesperson said: “We received a call at 08:03 to attend an incident on Aberbothrie Road near Coupar Angus.
“We dispatched two ambulances, one rapid resuscitation response unit (3RU), and one air ambulance to the scene.”
