Man charged in connection with rape of 83-year-old woman in Glenrothes

A man's been charged in connection with the rape of an 83-year-old woman in her Glenrothes home.
Police were called to an address in Meldrum Court at around 5am on Thursday 25 June.
Officers say a 21-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with an alleged serious sexual assault.
He is expected to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
