Man attacked by dog then punched by its owner in Dundee
The 20-year-old was left with injuries to his hand and head
A young man's been left with injuries to his hand and head after being attacked by a dog and its owner in Dundee.
It happened on Fleuchar Street on Wednesday night.
The 20-year-old was punched after the terrier targeted him and his own dog.
A Police Scotland spokepserson said: "We are appealing for information about an incident which took place about 9:30pm on Wednesday 7th October in Fleuchar Steet, Dundee.
"A 20 year old man was walking his dog, when it was approached and attacked by another dog which was not on a lead, a white terrier, which then attacked the complainer.
"Immediately afterwards, the terrier’s owner allegedly assaulted the complainer by punching him and knocking him to the ground. The complainer suffered injuries to his hand from the dog attack and to his head from the assault.
"The owner of the terrier is described as a white male, about 25 years old and 6ft tall, with long brown hair tied in a ponytail, wearing a dark bomber jacket and jeans."
