Man arrested after three people attacked in Auchterarder

A 29-year-old man has been arrested after three people were attacked by a weapon at a house in Perth and Kinross on Friday evening.

The incident happened in Auchterarder.

A 32-year-old man suffered a chest injury, while a 33-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman sustained minor injuries.

They were taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee for treatment.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “None of the injuries sustained are life-threatening and Police Scotland would like to stress that this is an isolated incident with no suspects outstanding and there is no threat to the public.'
