Man arrested after Dundee mosque vandalised

A man has been arrested over a racially aggravated incident at a mosque.

Officers were called to the Taj Dar-e-Madina Mosque in Victoria Road, Dundee, on Friday afternoon after a man entered the building and allegedly vandalised property inside.

Police confirmed a 38-year-old man had been arrested for racially aggravated breach of the peace, vandalism and resisting arrest.

He is expected to appear in court on Monday.
