Police say a 27-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an incident at a property on Ballindean Terrace in Dundee.
Yesterday afternoon police were called following reports of a man with serious injuries.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
In a statement, a Police Scotland spokesperson said: "There will be an increased police presence in the area while our investigation continues."
Enquiries are ongoing.
