Man arrested after sex attack in Dundee

A woman has been sexually assaulted in the middle of Dundee.
The 50 year-old was attacked on King Street just before midnight last night and a 40 year-old man has been arrested.
Police have taped off part of King Street in the city centre as part of their investigation.
A blue tarpaulin has been put up, covering several bushes, and a police van has been parked at the scene overnight.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11.40pm on Tuesday, 20 February, police received a report of a sexual assault on a 50-year-old woman in King Street, Dundee.
“Officers attended and a 40-year-old man has been arrested in connection with this incident. Enquiries are continuing.”
