Body found during search for missing Lynn McPaul from Dundee

A body has been found during the search for a missing mother from Dundee who hasn't been seen since the end of January.

45-year-old Lynn McPaul disappeared from the city on January 23rd and police have been searching for her since.

The discovery was made at a woodland area near to George Pirie Way in Dundee and the death is not being treated as suspicious.

A formal identification has still to take place but Lynn's family has been informed.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said:

“Around 3pm on Saturday, 12 March, 2022, the body of a woman was found in woodland near to George Pirie Way, Dundee.

“Formal identification is still to take place, however, the family of missing person Lynn McPaul has been made aware.

“The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
