Loving home needed for two elderly cats at Angus SSPCA centre.

Can you offer a home to Phoebe and Patrick?

An animal charity is looking for a loving home for two elderly cats.

Staff at the SSPCA centre at Petterden near Dundee are appealing for a local cat lover to offer the duo a peaceful retirement home.

Centre assistant manager Dale Christie said:

“Patrick and Phoebe are 16 years old and both love nothing more than being petted and having an afternoon nap. They are quiet cats who are looking for a home where they will be kept indoors. Phoebe's eyes are starting to cloud over due to her age so she can be a little wary of things in front of her. When Patrick arrived in our care his coat had a few matts so he had to be shaved and is looking a bit sorry for himself at the moment, but this will soon grow back. It can often be a bit more difficult to find homes for our older pets but we are sure there is someone out there who would be perfect for Phoebe and Patrick. If anyone is interested in offering this sweet pair a home to enjoy their retirement years we would love to hear from them.”

Anyone who can offer Phoebe and Patrick a new home is being asked to contact the Scottish SPCA’s Angus centre on 03000 999 999.
