A Tayside MSP says new guidance from Citizens Advice Scotland supports his call for people not to pay private parking fines.
Murdo Fraser's been campaigning on behalf of drivers in Perth - hit by charges after using a car park in Kinoull Street.
He's now calling on people to stand up to private firms:
Smart Parking says the majority of drivers use Kinoull Street with no problems whatsoever.
Citizens Advice Scotland says it has seen a 45% rise in the number of people seeking their help to challenge a parking issue.
