David Wood has been missing in the French Alps since August 2.
A Broughty Ferry man, whose brother's been missing in France for almost three months, says efforts to find him are stepping up.
David Wood went missing when he was hiking in the Alps on August 2 but there has been no trace of the 61-year-old since.
A huge search took place to try to find David, but his brother Chris says they are desperate to know what happened after David left the village Marie in the Tinnee Valley region.
Chris said: "We are having to raise the profile now because nothing has come up, not even any of his clothing.
"Nothing has been found.
"It is very, very worrying, particularly three months on.
"The local villagers are often hunters at this time of year. They have been hunting since the middle of September and found nothing.
“It’s a very difficult situation for the whole family.”
