It's the last day to see the Oor Wullie Bucket Trail on the streets of Dundee

It is the last day to see all the sculptures in the Oor Wullie Bucket Trail which have been lining the streets of Dundee and beyond for the past 10 weeks.

The statues will start to be taken down from their plinths across the city from 5pm on Saturday in preparation for a special event in 2 weeks time.

There is also one last chance to see the 11 Wullies which have been touring the country and are now on display in City Square.

All of the full sized and mini statues will reconditioned before being put on display side by side at Slessor Gardens from the 9th to the 11th September.

Project Manager Neil Cooney has been speaking to our reporter Lizzie Parker:

The sculptures are set to be auctioned off on Tuesday 13th September to raise money for The ARCHIE Foundation Tayside's £2million appeal for an additional operating theatre suit in Tayside Childrens Hospital.
