Man charged following Kinross dog attacks

A 28-year-old man has been charged in connection with offences under the Dangerous Dogs Act following dog attacks in Kinross.

Police were alerted to the attack at around 2:30pm on Sunday, 20th October, following reports of three dogs attacking four other dogs on High Street and Burns Begg Street in Kinross.

One dog was killed in the attack and two others were taken to the vet to treat their injuries.

A woman also sustained injuries when she fell during the incident.

She was treated at the scene.

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
