The mother of missing Fife teenager, Elizabeth Toledo, says she just wants her home.
The 17-year-old, who is also known as Libbi, was last seen in the Smeaton area of Kirkcaldy on Monday, September 11, and concern is growing for her welfare.
Her mum, Judi, said alarm bells started ringing when the teenager failed to collect train money to go and visit her at her home in Brechin.
She said: "I don't even know how I'm feeling at this point, there are so many things going on in my head. Mostly I'm just scared- scared and worried.
"She hasn't been in touch with me, she hasn't been in touch with Judi's partner Robert, her phone's not been active, her Facebook hasn't been active and like most 17-year-olds, she's joined at the hip to her phone".
“I can’t imagine what’s happened to her- I don’t want to and I miss her every second.
“I just want to give her a big cuddle and to never let her out of my sight, but I know that’s not practical.
“I just want to make sure she’s safe, and I want her home”.
Judi has thanked the public for the support her and her family have received since Libbi disappeared.
She added: "I don't even know how to thank people for all their help and support, we just want her home.
"It's horrible, the things that go through your mind are just not worth thinking about.
"I go a certain distance down some lines of thought and my brain just shuts off, because I just can't cope. She has to be out there".
There have been several potential sightings of Libbi over the last week, with the latest being on Alison Street in Kircaldy at around 7:45pm on Friday.
Libbi is described as being 5' 6" in height, of slim build, with dark blonde hair, hazel eyes and sometimes wears glasses.
She has links to the Forfar, Brechin and Abroath areas of Angus.
If anyone has information on where she might be is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101
