Investigators return to scene of Dundee fire
Crews were called to East Camperdown Street at the city's docks on Thursday evening.
Investigators will this morning return to the scene of a huge fire in Dundee.
Flames broke out at building at a sewage works in East Camperdown Street yesterday, with flames seen as far away as on the Kingsway.
Four fire appliances from the Kingsway and Blackness Road stations were called to the scene at around 4.50pm.
Area Manager John MacDonald said: "The swift deployment and quick actions of our crews prevented this fire from developing into a more significant incident.
“I wish to take this opportunity to recognise the professionalism shown by these firefighters and thank the public for their patience and cooperation."
No-one was injured and crews managed to put out the fire at 6.20pm.
They cleared the scene just after 11pm.
