Dundee United manager Mixu Paatelainen admits his squad might be stretched for Sunday's city derby.

Goalkeeper Eiji Kawashima (thigh) and midfielder Guy Demel (hamstring) remain doubts for the Tannadice clash with Dundee, while Callum Morris is still feeling the effects of his 50-50 with Motherwell midfielder Keith Lasley.

And Paatelainen revealed several other unnamed players were causing him concern with their fitness ahead of Sunday's crucial match for the Ladbrokes Premiership bottom club.

Paatelainen said: We have quite a few injuries. We have had quite a heavy schedule recently and the boys are struggling a little bit. But the good thing is it is a derby match and everyone wants to be involved. If someone is a bit iffy, they all report fit and ready.”
