There's a hunt for two men who assaulted a man after jumping a taxi queue in Broughty Ferry.

It happened at the Brook Street rank around 2.30am on 2 June, with the duo punching the 55-year-old in the face and kicking him on the ground, leaving him with head and facial injuries.

One of the attackers is described as white, middle aged, dark hair and with a northern English accent.

The other is believed to be a similar age, with a shaved or bald head and wearing a white shirt.

A police spokesperson said: " The area was still busy around this time with people heading home after their Saturday night out, and we would like to hear from anyone who witnessed any part of what happened at the taxi rank.

"If you have any information that could assist our investigation, please call 101 or speak with any police officer."
