Homes evacuated in Milnathort following reports of 'unexploded bomb'

Police removed the device from a garden on Victoria Avenue in Milnathort on Friday afternoon.
No one was hurt.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said:
"Around 3.05pm on Friday officers attended in Milnathort after an unexploded ordanance device was excavated in the garden of an address in the Victoria Road area.
"A cordon was put in place and a number of properties evacuated as a precaution.
"Specialist teams examined and removed the item from the area.
"No person was injured and no damage caused to any property."
