Several homes were evacuated after a fire broke out at a derelict hotel in Perth.

Fire crews were called to the White Horse Inn in North William Street in the city at around 4.40am on Saturday.

No one was injured in the blaze, according to the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.

The unoccupied White Horse Inn was badly damaged in 2013 after a fire took hold on the ground floor and spread through the roof.
