German Shepherd abandoned in Perthshire
Kai was discovered tied to a fence near Westmuir Wood on Saturday.
A German Shepherd has been discovered tied to a fence in rural Perthshire.
The two-year-old canine was found near Westmuir Wood, close to Clathymore and Madderty, on Saturday, September 17 - a member of the public got in touch with the Scottish SPCA.
His microchip revealed his name is Kai, but it was registered to a previous owner.
Kai is now in the care of it’s animal rescue and rehoming centre in Petterden.
Inspector Clare Anderson said: “This beautiful boy was tied to a fence and abandoned. We have no idea how long he was left there.
“He’s a friendly boy and we aren’t sure why someone would want to abandon him like this.
“We will look after him until we find him the loving home that he deserves.”
The SSPCA is asking anyone information to contact our animal helpline on 03000 999 999.
