Teenage girl taken to hospital after fire at Forfar flats
The blaze started in entrance of the tenement block in Lordburn Place.
A 14-year-old girl has been taken to hospital after a fire broke out at a block of flats in Forfar.
Crews were called to the blaze in Lordburn Place at around 7:30am on Friday 16th August.
The fire started in the entrance of the tenement and resulted in residents being evacuated – it was extinguished just before 8 o’clock.
In total 27 firefighters attended with four appliances.
The teenage girl’s being treated for smoke inhalation, but her injuries aren’t thought to be serious.
