A five-year-old boy is in hospital after being attacked by dogs at a property in Gourdie Terrace in Dundee.

The attack happened yesterday afternoon and Police confirmed there is no risk to the wider public.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said:

Police in Dundee received a report of a 5-year-old boy having been attacked by dogs. It happened in a property on Gourdie Terrance around 2.15pm on Friday, 11th November. The boy remains in hospital for treatment. Enquiries into the incident are ongoing. There is no risk to the wider public."
