Fire Crews Tackle Petrol Tanker Blaze
The M90 had to be closed in both directions after fire took hold of the cab of a petrol tanker
Fire crews have tackled a tanker lorry blaze on the M90.
Emergency services were called to the scene south of the Friarton Bridge at around 6.30am today following reports of a petrol tanker on fire.
The blaze was brought under control by fire crews and it is understood that nobody was injured.
The road was closed both ways at junction 10 following the incident but the southbound carriageway was soon reopened.
