A Fife man's being accused of murder following the death of a 65-year-old in a property in Glenrothes.
The man was pronounced dead on Saturday evening.
Dale Berwick has also been charged with assault and obstructing police
The 29-year-old made no plea at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court court - he's been remanded in custody.
