The Key Bar on Market Street posted on Sunday that it was staying closed voluntarily after some of its staff were contact traced. NHS Fife has since confirmed 'a small number of cases' linked to the venue.

Customers who have been to the bar between the 11 - 17 June are being urged by the health board to be extra vigilant of signs and symptoms of the virus.

These are a new, continuous cough; a fever; or a loss or change in the sense of smell or taste.

The public health message remains the same from the health board with tests being available across the region.

In a Facebook post on Friday 18 June The Keys Bar said: "We have had to close the pub earlier today after being contacted by track and trace, we are taking advice from them on our next steps and what procedures we have to follow.

"Once we have more information we will let you all know. Our main priority is to make sure customers and staff are all safe."
