Faissal El Bakhtaoui heads to Dunfermline on loan
The Dundee attacker joins the Pars on a season-long deal.
Dundee attacker Faissal El Bakhtaoui has rejoined Dunfermline on a season-long loan.
The French-Moroccan frontman was a major hit during his previous stint with the Pars between 2012 and 2016.
But he struggled to recapture that form after he stepped up two divisions to join the top-flight Dark Blues.
And although he netted eight goals in 66 appearances for the Dens Park outfit, boss Neil McCann has decided he can do without the 25-year-old this term.
He has now returned to the club where he lifted a League One title two years ago and netted 43 goals in 92 appearances.
Dunfermline chairman Ross McArthur said: "We are all naturally delighted to confirm the return of Faissal.
"The manager has been working very hard to bring quality players into the club ahead of the new season, and Faissal will certainly bring that.
"We would like to thank Dundee, and in particular chief executive Eric Drysdale for their assistance and co-operation in the transfer."
