Hunt for man who exposed himself to pensioner in Perthshire woods

Police are hunting a man who exposed himself to a woman in her 80s in a Perthshire village.

It happened in a secluded woods near the River Tay at Luncarty yesterday afternoon, a middle aged woman was also targeted.

The suspect's believed to be in his 30s, both incidents are being linked.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We are currently investigating two linked incidents which happened near the River Tay at Luncarty yesterday afternoon (11th May).

"The location is a secluded patch of woodland along a path which is accessed from Scarth Road, Tayview and Hatton Road.

"About 2pm, a man exposed himself to a woman in her 40s who was walking along the path. Then, about 2:40pm, a man exposed himself to a woman in her 80s at almost exactly the same place. The same person is believed to be responsible for both incidents.

"He is described as being in his early 30s, slim build with a tanned complexion, short dark hair and facial hair, and was wearing a grey long sleeved top.

"These were very upsetting incidents for the victims. Extensive enquiries are currently being made in the surrounding area.
