Elderly woman dies in hospital following Perthshire road accident
Mary Lawson passed away at Ninewells.
An 80 year old woman has died in hospital, after being hit by a car on the outskirts of Perth.
Mary Lawson was struck by a car near her home in Gannochy last Tuesday.
The pensioner suffered head and leg injuries in the accident, and was rushed to Ninewells.
We now know that she passed away there on Sunday.
Police say a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
