Elderly man in hospital following Perth crash
The incident happened on King Edward Street yesterday afternoon
A 94-year-old man is in hospital following a serious crash in Perth.
The incident, involving a pedestrian and white Ford Transit Custom 2800 van, happened at around 2.20pm on Tuesday, 25th July on King Edward Street.
Emergency services attended and the elderly man was taken by ambulance to Ninewells Hospital where his condition is described as serious but stable.
Sergeant Brian McEwen said: “Our enquiries to establish the full circumstances are ongoing and we are appealing for anyone who saw what happened but has not yet spoken to officers, to get in touch.
“If you can assist please call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 1823 of Tuesday, 25 July, 2023.”
