Elderly man dies after three car crash near Forfar
The 68-year-old died after two small vans and car collided on the A94
A 68-year-old man's died after a three car crash in the Forfar area this afternoon.
It happened on the A94 Forfar Road near the junction with the Hatton of Eassie road at around 1.25pm.
The collision involved three vehicles including a red Ford Transit, a black Renault Kangoo and a black VW Polo.
The man who died was the driver of the Renault Kangoo. The other two drivers were minorly injured.
Road Policing Sergeant Craig McBean said: “Our thoughts are with the family of the man who has sadly died. I can confirm his next of kin have been updated. Further details will be issued in due course.
“We are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed the collision or who saw any of the vehicles involved to contact police on 101 using reference number 1890 of 15 February.”
