Dundee Waterfront Road Closures
Resurfacing works are due to start on major routes along Dundees Waterfront this weekend as the next phase of the area's regeneration gets underway.
Riverside Drive will be closed eastbound from Tesco between 11pm on Friday and 6am on Saturday.
Drivers using Riverside roundabout heading east or to gain access to the Tay Road Bridge will be diverted via the inner ring road. Controlled access to the Railway Station lay-by at Riverside Drive will be maintained via Riverside Drive during the closure and the taxi rank will remain operational.
The Tay Road Bridge westbound off ramp and a stretch of road between Customs House at East Dock Street and Riverside Drive mini roundabout at the service access to Tesco will be closed on Friday May 8 between 7pm and 6am and Saturday May 9 between 7pm and 6am.
This will allow surfacing and road markings to be put down on the westbound section of the new junction between Riverside Esplanade and Riverside Drive.
Drivers using the Tay Road Bridge westbound off ramp and Riverside Esplanade heading for Perth will be diverted via the inner ring road. Access to Discovery Point and Premier Inn from Riverside Drive will be maintained during the closure and access to the railway station is also unaffected.
To minimise disruption a stretch of East Dock Street westbound from Customs House to Riverside Esplanade will also be resurfaced at the same time.
Work is expected to be completed by the end of May.
