Dundee vaccination centre evacuated over 'unusual odour'

A Covid-19 vaccination centre in Dundee was evacuated this afternoon following reports of an unusual smell.

Emergency services attended the scene on Commercial Street around 4pm today leaving the site temporarily closed.

Officers say the incident has been resolved and no one should be alarmed.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said:

"Around 4pm, on Friday 21 January, 2022, police were made aware of an unusual odour at the vaccination centre in Commercial Street, Dundee.

Emergency services attended and the centre was temporarily closed as Fire Service and police investigated.

The matter has been resolved and there is no cause for concern."
