Dundee school pupils get set to blast off with presentation

The group from St Luke’s and St Matthew’s are heading to York to showcase the findings of their and meet a famous face.

A group of Dundee primary school pupils are getting ready to blast off with a special presentation.

They have been studying the rate of growth of seeds as part of the and will be heading to York this weekend to present their findings of their Rocket Science experiment at the Principa School's Conference, as well as meeting astronaut Tim Peak.

Sharon Cura's the health and wellbeing assistant at St Luke's and St Matthew's.

The pupils have been studying seeds they planted earlier this year, which travelled to the International Space Station and were stored in microgravity by the British astronaut before his return to Earth.
