Dundee Rep cancels A Christmas Carol performances due to Covid restrictions

The theater says the performances are no longer viable due to restrictions from Boxing Day

The Dundee Rep theater have announced they have been forced to cancel performances of A Christmas Carol from Boxing Day, due to coronavirus restrictions limiting the size of indoor events.

In a statement on the theater's website, the Rep said: "While it’s disappointing that we are unable to continue our in-person shows, we are incredibly proud that so many people have enjoyed the production, and we have loved hearing your feedback on what we are doing to keep you safe while in the theatre.

"This decision ensures we conclude the run of live/’in-person’ shows on a high, while still giving our audiences a chance to continue to enjoy the show in the week ahead.

"Audiences who are booked for performances from the 26th to 31st Dec will be refunded automatically. Our Box Office team are currently processing these and you do not need to contact us to arrange your refund. Please be aware it may take up to 5 working days."
