Police appeal after woman assaulted by man in Dundee woods

The woman was exercising in Dronley Woods when the man approached her

Officers in Dundee are appealing for witnesses after a woman was assaulted in Dronley Woods on Thursday.

The 33-year-old was exercising in the area when the man approached her.

The incident happened around 7.15pm.

He’s between 28 and 35 years old, white, around 5ft 11", with short brown hair and a ginger straggly beard.

He was wearing a dark coloured top and dark coloured jogging bottoms or jeans.

Detective Inspector Mac Lorente from West Bell Street Police Office said:

“This incident has left the woman shaken, but thankfully physically unharmed.

“We are keen to hear from anyone in the area at the time who may have seen the suspect, to get in touch via 101 quoting incident number 3492 of 16 June 2022.”
