Dundee Food And Flower Festival Kicks Off
Dundee’s Food and Flower Festival 2015 gets underway today.
Thousands of people are expected at Camperdown Park over the next three days to see the floral displays, vegetable competitions and discover who will take the crown of Scottish Broth Champion.
Dundee City Council’s environment convener, Craig Melville, said: “I am pleased to see that all the months of preparation are now coming together for the opening of the festival on Friday at 10am.
“I am sure that visitors to the festival will be delighted with the colourful floral displays and the quality of the celebrity guests that will be appearing over the weekend.
“This year's festival is on track to be as popular as ever and we have managed to attract a range of celebrities that will appeal to a wide audience. I can safely say visitors are in for a treat.”
