Dundee Flower And Food Festival Line-Up Revealed

The line-up for this year's Dundee Flower and Food Festival has been unveiled.

The three day event - which kicks off from September 4th will feature Masterchef presenter Gregg Wallace and music from Dougie McLean.

Dundee City Council environment convener Councillor Craig Melville said: "I am delighted to be able to announce that tickets for the Dundee Flower & Food Festival will go on sale this Monday.

“This year's Festival is on track to be as popular as ever and we have managed to attract a range of celebrities that will appeal to a wide audience.

“There’s something for everyone packed with cookery and gardening demonstrations, stunning floral displays and inspirational ideas for your home and garden.”

Gregg Wallace said: “I’m very happy to be taking part in this Festival of Food in Dundee. I am embarrassed to say this will be my first visit but I have a feeling it won’t be my last.

“There is nothing I enjoy more than talking food and drink with likeminded people. I will be down early to have a good mingle and a good nibble. I am looking forward to putting on a few pounds. See you there.”
