Crash on Clepington Road involving police car
Two people, including an officer, have been taken to hospital
Clepington Road remains closed as police investigate a crash involving one of their own.
The male officers' car collided with another car just before 6am on Wednesday.
He and and the female driver of the Toyota have been taken to Ninewells Hospital for treatment.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A marked police vehicle was involved in a collision with a Toyota Aygo car driven by a member of the public around 5.55am on Wednesday, 7 December.
“One male police officer and a woman from the car have been taken to Ninewells Hospital for treatment.
“The road remains closed to allow for an investigation at the scene.”
