Dozens of Dundee youngsters will be eating outside this morning, after their community centre went up in flames.

Firefighters were called to Hebrides Drive around 8.20pm last night, Sunday 23rd July 2017.

There, they found the Mill O'Mains Community Pavilion well alight - it took crews nearly 5 hours to put out the blaze. They left the scene just before 2.00am

The centre hosts more than forty kids over the summer holidays, with youngsters expected there today for breakfast and lunch.

In a post on the centre's facebook page, there's a plea for the community to rally round, bringing blankets so the children can sit and eat outside.

An investigation into what caused the blaze is underway.
