Enquires continue following break-in at Dundee shop

Detectives in Dundee are continuing enquiries following a break-in at a shop on Saturday 15th October, 2022.

Police received a report of a break-in at a premises in Tom Johnston Road, Dundee at around 8.10am on Sunday 16th October.

Officers believe the break-in occurred between 8.50pm and 11.40pm on Saturday, 15th October, where a number of items were stolen, including electronic goods and computer games.

Officers have been carrying out enquiries and continue to check relevant CCTV footage.

Constable Andrew Nicoll said: “I am appealing to anyone who was in the area between 8pm on Saturday, 15th October and 12am on Sunday, 16th October, when the crime occurred. In particular, anyone with a dash cam is asked to check the footage as it could have captured images which could assist our investigation. Any small piece of information could prove significant.”

Anyone with information is encouraged to call Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 0960 of 16 October, 2022. Alternatively, information can be shared anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
